Every year when this month comes around, I can’t help but think of all the individuals and families around the world that are affected by this tragic injury. And how tough it is financially for them to get the care and rehab they need due to the lack of insurance coverage. It is absolutely devastating.
The proven therapies exist, yet the people that need it most don’t have access to it. Seems backwards, doesn’t it?
Walking With Anthony believes that everyone with SCI should have equal access to life-altering medical care.
Our focus is recovery through rehab. That’s why we provide direct and immediate assistance through our grant programs. From day one, we have been committed to helping as many individuals with SCI as possible. 10 years later, we still stand by that promise.
